Seasons Greetings! Team Upwell would like to present to you our first, fully functional build of Balloon Lament! Thank you to everyone who contributed greatly towards this game, in the form of playtest feedback! We are truly grateful.

The player speed has been adjusted to match the pacing of the game.

Combo time has been extended to incorporate the new speed of the player within the game.

A new level has been implemented on top of the original levels.

The new levels feature a new type of block, an unbreakable cloud block coloured in purple, in which players must go around them.

The bullet sprite has been changed from a box, into a flame ball to match the theme.

A new pickup called Health Bottle, which restores the players health to maximum.

A new pickup called Triple Shot, which gives the player the ability to shoot 3 flame balls for 10 seconds.

It has been such a journey to be able to build this Balloon Lament as Team Upwell, and we had fun making it, despite some struggles that we faced along the way. We hope that you enjoyed playing as much as we enjoyed making Balloon Lament!
